The Data Engineer-Magnetoencephalography (MEG) provides advanced scientific and technical expertise for the Magnetoencephalography (MEG) laboratory contributing to the formulation and implementation of MEG procedures and analysis techniques for both clinical and research applications. Acquires and analyzes clinical data from research candidates. Trains, supports, and provides technical direction for lab team members to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality results in compliance with all protocols, guidelines, and regulations. Oversees lab maintenance and implementing quality control measures.

  • Master's Degree is required.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred concentration for Master's or PhD in Engineering, Medical Physics, or Neuroscience. Other related medical fields may be considered.
  • Requires 2 years of relevant experience in a MEG/functional imaging environment.
  • Preferred 2 years experience with relevant research programs and development.
  • Requires experience with Windows and Linux OS environments. Software programming experience and database development preferred.
  • Requires knowledge and proficiency of MEG/MRI open-source software such as, but not limited to, Brainstorm, Fieldtrip, MNE-Python, and MATLAB. Multimodal co-registration preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
