CMEG Credential Pathway Expires 12/31/2018

Second Eligibility Pathway Extended through 12/31/2018

In 2017, ABRET launched a new MEG Technologist’s Certification Program (CMEG), which consists of 12 online educational modules and a quizzes as well as a final proctored certification exam at a university testing center.

There are currently two eligibility pathways to become a CMEG Candidate:

  1. R. EEG T. or R. EP T. credential or
  2. Employment in MEG and have at least an Associate’s Degree (originally scheduled to expire 5/31/2018).

The second pathway has been extended through the end of 2018, but will expire on December 31, 2018.

Technologists wishing to sit for the CMEG exam and to qualify via the second pathway are encouraged to submit all application materials prior to December 31, 2018 to be eligible under pathway #2.
